New Study Highlights How to Effectively Deploy iPads to Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs)
CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Feb. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- New technologies are changing how Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) interact with physicians and other thought leaders. MSLs use tablets to not only share important disease and therapy information with physicians, but also to help field medical specialists to better coordinate their HCP interactions.
According to recent research by benchmarking firm, Best Practices, LLC, proper planning and training for MSLs on iPad usage is essential for success. While the study found that 92% of MSLs used iPads to present data to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), only 12% receive training on presentation skills. Reducing this gap should help to improve the effectiveness of MSL presentations.
