Amylin Pharmaceuticals

A family-owned company, Boehringer Ingelheim makes prescription, over-the-counter (OTC), and veterinary drugs and chemicals. Its pharmaceuticals include treatments for respiratory ailments (its best-selling product is bronchitis drug Atrovent), cardiovasc

EMD Serono, Inc., an affiliate of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. The company provides drugs for markets such as neurodegenerative diseases, endocrinology and fertility treatments. EMD Serono employys more than 950 people around the United. States.



Genentech
Genentech is a leading biotechnology company that discovers, develops, manufactures and commercializes biotherapeutics for significant unmet medical needs. Seventeen of the currently approved biotechnology products originated from or are based on Genentech science. Genentech manufactures and commercializes 12 biotechnology products in the United States. The company has headquarters in South San Francisco, California and is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol DNA.



Hospira
Hospira is a global specialty pharmaceutical and medication delivery company dedicated to developing, manufacturing and marketing products that help improve the productivity, safety and efficacy of patient care. In February 2007, Hospira acquired Mayne Pharma Limited, which helps it focus on specialty generic injectable pharmaceuticals.



Merck & Company
Merck & Co., Inc. is a global research-driven pharmaceutical company dedicated to putting patients first. Established in 1891, Merck discovers, develops, manufactures and markets vaccines and medicines to address unmet medical needs. The company devotes extensive efforts to increase access to medicines through far-reaching programs that not only donate Merck medicines but help deliver them to the people who need them. Merck also publishes unbiased health information as a not-for-profit service



Novartis Pharma AG
Novartis (NYSE: NVS) is a world leader in healthcare with core businesses in pharmaceuticals, consumer health, generics, eye-care, and animal health. Sanofi-Aventis
Sanofi-aventis is one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Sanofi-aventis is developing leading positions in seven major therapeutic areas: cardiovascular disease, thrombosis, oncology, diabetes, central nervous system, internal medicine, and vaccines. In 2006, sanofi-aventis generated sales of approximately € 28.4 billion, invested more than € 4.4 billion in research and development, and employed approximately 100,000 people in its core business. Corporate headquarters are in Paris, France. Sanofi-aventis conducts business in the U.S. through its headquarters in Bridgewater, N.J.



Takeda Pharmaceutical North America
