Christopher Bogan
President and CEO
Christopher Bogan is a recognized expert and thought leader in the application of best practices for performance improvement. He has advised various Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Winners and other industry leading corporations. Mr. Bogan is a co-author of the highly acclaimed book, Benchmarking for Best Practices: Winning Through Innovative Adaptation, which has been hailed as "the new benchmark" for all those interested in benchmarking and best practice performance improvement. Mr. Bogan's first book, The Baldrige: What It Is, How it's Won, How To Use It to Improve Quality in Your Company, explores the quality systems of world-class companies. He is an honors graduate of the Harvard Business School and Amherst College. He sits on the boards of several corporations and is a Guest Lecturer at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

| Bob Bullock |
Vice President, Sales, Business Development and Research and Advisory Services
Bob Bullock joined Best Practices, LLC in 2010, bringing more than two decades of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.
As Vice President, Mr. Bullock will lead the firm's commercial functions, including Sales, Business Development and Research and Advisory Services. In these roles, Mr. Bullock will access and leverage Best Practices, LLC’s innovative intellectual assets to provide clients exceptional business insights, analysis and decision support through proprietary global best practice benchmarking®
Mr. Bullock worked more than 20 years of leadership roles at Novartis and Merck, with experience in Sales within Primary Care, Specialty Care, Managed Markets, Senior Care, Federal, Academic and major Integrated Health Systems.
As a tenured Managing Director, he has extensive experience developing and leading cross-functional teams in the launch and sales of blockbusters within several therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular, nephrology, endocrinology, oncology, gastro-intestinal, urology, neurology, psychiatry, dermatology, rheumatology, and geriatrics.
Also, Mr. Bullock led Global Sales Excellence efforts within the Emerging Markets segment and also worked within Marketing, Operations, Ethics and Compliance.
He has served as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Xavier University School of Pharmacy in New Orleans, where he taught Principles of Marketing to Pharm.D. students.
Mr. Bullock earned his MBA from Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business.
Cameron Tew
Executive Director of Research, Publishing, Marketing and Advisory Services
Cameron Tew joined Best Practices, LLC, in early 2004, bringing a wealth of experience in research, analysis, field interviews and management/project leadership from 14 years in the media industry.
Since 2004, Mr. Tew has acquired extensive pharmaceutical product knowledge and is responsible for developing and maintaining advisory services and relations for Best Practices. He also serves an integral role in all aspects of new business development for the company and its clients. This places him in both the sales and delivery cycles for analytical project work integral to strategic planning and tactical execution for clients' commercial operations groups.
He has worked closely with pharmaceutical clients including Novartis, Shire, GSK, Sanofi-aventis, Roche, Merck, NovoNordisk , Genentech, Astellas, Abbott, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca and others.
In this role, Mr. Tew works directly with clients on existing initiatives and also contributes to the development of new services to help pharmaceutical companies improve their commercial operations.
Mr. Tew has been published and quoted in various industry and technology publications including Med Ad News, Pharma Focus, Product Management Today, Pharmaceutical Technology and Innovations in Pharma Technology. He has delivered industry presentations on a breadth of topics including new product planning, product launch, competitive intelligence, Medical Affairs, sales communication and talent management.
He holds a B.A. degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Mansi Kamdar
General Manager of Best Practices, LLC – India
Mansi Kamdar spearheads Best Practices®, LLC’s India-based operating company in Mumbai, India. Ms. Kamdar worked in all aspects of our research and consulting operations in the United States before launching and leading our Mumbai and Asia emerging market operations. She has worked with clients in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device and other industries – conducting quantitative and qualitative research studies on sales force issues, marketing and commercial operations, finance, manufacturing and quality issues. Ms. Kamdar graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Mathematical Decision Sciences. She earned her post-graduate degree in Management from the Indian School of Business.
Mihir Shah
Associate General Manager of Best Practices, LLC – India
Mihir Shah leads Best Practices, LLC’s International business development operations from Mumbai, India. Having worked within the pharmaceutical industry for more than 5 years, Mr. Shah has worked extensively with clients spanning across three continents and more than ten countries. In addition to a rich business development background, Mr. Shah has worked across a number of areas in the generic pharmaceutical industry including: advertising, quality, licensing, packaging, manufacturing and finance. Mr. Shah graduated from the Mumbai University with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and earned his Masters of Business Administration – Marketing and Finance from Graduate School of Business, Fordham University, New York.
Martha Haswell
Senior Research Consultant / Project Manager
Martha Haswell leads quantitative and qualitative research projects for Best Practices, LLC clients seeking to improve business operations through benchmarking. With 20 years’ research experience, including 11 in the Pharmaceutical sector, Ms. Haswell has successfully completed studies that helped clients build or improve clinical, R&D and commercial processes within new product launch, clinical operations, sales, marketing, managed markets, information services, shared services, competitive intelligence and market research organizations. Recent projects for Top 10 Pharma clients identified best practices for developing high-performing district sales managers and highlighted innovative market research methods and managed markets pull through. Ms. Haswell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Information Science, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Jeff Zimmer
Senior Research Consultant / Project Manager
Jeff Zimmer conducts primary research and consulting projects for Best Practices, LLC biopharmaceutical clients. A former editor of the Washington Drug Letter, Mr. Zimmer brings to the team a background covering regulatory issues that arise between the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Pharmaceutical industry, as well as 20 years’ experience in consulting, interviewing, analysis and writing. Recent projects include: Winning Strategies for Working with the FDA on Successful NDAs, Role of Market Research in the Reporting of Adverse Events, Corporate & Government Affairs Excellence, New Product Planning: Structure and Activities to Drive Growth and Profitable Launches, Educating the Marketplace for New Oncology and Diabetes Drugs, and Developing Effective PR Campaigns across a Product's Lifecycle. Clients used the research to more effectively navigate the FDA review and approval process, to readdress standard contracts for third-party vendors, to enhance the role of New Product Planning in commercialization, ready two new Phase III drugs for market entry, and to build a product-specific public relations plan.
Kim Hardin
Senior Research Consultant
Kim Hardin is a Research and Consulting Analyst supporting client projects across multiple industries including the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Device sectors. Ms. Hardin has been a key player on projects that successfully guided client companies ranging from developing front-line and mid-level sales leaders to improving evaluation processes for measuring the success of pharmaceutical product launches. Ms. Hardin recently served as a data analyst on the project team that benchmarked how to successfully bring fixed dose combination products to market. She has also served on projects examining market education and entry for diabetes and oncology products, new product launch, and patient and professional group advocacy. Ms. Hardin has served as lead analyst on a project that helped a biotech company understand how U.S. pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations optimize their competitive intelligence operations while working within defined ethical and legal guidelines. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with dual degrees in Economics and Mass Communications. She also holds a certificate in Business Journalism.
Ben Gregory
Research Consultant
Benjamin Gregory is a Research Consultant and Analyst who has worked on projects for clients in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Technology, Financial services, Retail, and Healthcare industries. Recent projects have concerned sales force management and distribution excellence, managed markets, new product development, and internal communications and education for ImClone-pharma products. Prior to joining Best Practices, LLC, Mr. Gregory worked in the financial services industry. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Economics, with a concentration in Statistics.
James Drake
Research Consultant
James Drake is a Research and Consulting Associate at Best Practices, LLC, where he serves clients in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device and Health Services sector. He has participated on projects in Medical Affairs, Market Research, Thought Leaders and other critical bio-pharma functions. Mr. Drake brings experience in medical advertising, teaching, and business management to Best Practices, and recently worked on a study that detailed strategic and tactical solutions for building effective relationships between pharmaceutical companies and the FDA. Mr. Drake graduated from Amherst College with a bachelor’s degree in English.
