Ongoing trends towards more globalization and outsourcing require companies to become more sophisticated and efficient in managing a more diverse work force in different locations across the globe. - The majority of benchmarked companies spend less than $500 per full-time equivalent employee (FTE) regardless of the region.
- On average, 75% of U.S. learning initiatives have a corporate focus and half of the programs for Europe and Asia are country-specific.
- 62% of benchmarked companies translate learning material from English into the local languages either through a local company resource, a contracted agency, or on an ad hoc basis through local employees using English learning material as a basis.
Methodology:
Best Practices, LLC conducted an internet benchmarking exchange survey with 24 international/global companies across different industries. The study was completed for a Global Benchmarking Council member.
