Helene Blanchette

Hélène Blanchette is presently National Industry & Marketing Manager in Canada, for the Graphic Arts Division of Xerox Canada, as well as Vice-President of the AMR (Direct Marketing Association) in Montreal. At Xerox Hélène responsibilities range from marketing development strategies to international program management and extend to media relations and training. Hélène has been active in the graphic arts and the marketing industries for nearly 18 years.
Now specialized in the marketing of digital printing solutions and One-to-One Marketing, Hélène Blanchette is also known for her expertise in the traditional offset environment. She was the owner of a printing business for over eight years and the author of a workshop called "Getting to know the graphic chain", which proved very successful (over 2,000 participants). Over the years, Mrs. Blanchette has published over 100 articles and columns for several industry related magazines. Known for her talent of communicator, she has been invited to deliver conferences all across Canada and she is regularly invited to speak for the students in Marketing at the HEC University. In May 2003 she was honoured with an Honoris Causa Diploma from the Ahuntsic College for her remarkable involvement in the printing industry. She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in parallel to her other responsibilities.

Brad Joined Eli Lilly in 2001 and is currently responsible for knowledge management and improving marketing efficiency and effectiveness within Lilly’s U.S. business. Prior to joining Lilly, Brad served as the COO of Enlighten Software Solutions. Prior to Enlighten, Brad held several positions within Cendant Corporation including General Manager and Vice President of two subsidiaries and Director of Planning and Development. His background also includes five years of consulting with Ernst & Young and three years with Procter & Gamble. He holds an MBA in Finance and a BA in Computer Science, both from Indiana University.
Carmen Lamar

Carmen Lamar is President of Summit Media Partners. Her career spans over twenty-three years, and most of that time has been spent in companies that serve newspapers, magazines, and service bureaus. She has been a typographer, a newspaper production manager, and an editorial group product manager for a newspaper systems vendor. After earning her MBA from the University of Colorado, she joined Langford Partners, a Swiss consulting group that designed a global cost and supply chain management program for Ford Motor Company. She left that assignment to found Summit Media Partners in 1996.
She is a board member of the Chancellor's Scholars & Leaders program, founded to identify, promote and nurture leaders among university students in Colorado.
Dr. Raymond Pettit

As VP, Product and Business Intelligence and Director of Research at iTVX at Longwoods International, Dr. Pettit supervises and manages a broad R&D platform, in conjunction with leading academics in the media and entertainment space, in the area of product placement and branded entertainment. This specialty crosses a number of verticals, wherever integrated marketing intelligence or customer measurement is needed, and utilizes the skills of market research, multivariate data analysis, brand equity/ROI measurement and modeling, and the ability to perform a variety of statistical classification and segmentation schemes.
In addition, Dr. Pettit brings extensive consulting, sales/business development, and client relationship expertise to the table, supported and enhanced by numerous thought leadership efforts.
He is the author of “Market Research in the Internet Age: Leveraging the Internet for Market Measurement and Consumer Insight”. This is the first book to establish the conceptual and methodological framework for integrating market research techniques and processes with CRM analytics and enabling technology solutions.
Paul Smith

Paul Smith has been a leader in Intuit Corporation's, QuickBooks Direct Sales Channel for 2 1/2 years. During his tenure he served as Sales Manager of Registration Sales- a service channel that generated over $26 million of revenue in FY '03. Also, he served as Sr. Project Manager overseeing the development of strategic programs including: a Voice of the Customer survey process; New Hire recruiting and assessment programs that have enabled QB Direct Sales to enjoy better than a 60% success rate in identifying and hiring agents who are able to raise the floor sales average; and he also completed a comprehensive benchmarking study of sales center operations in partnership with the Global Benchmarking Council.
In his current capacity Paul oversees Training & Development where he has helped lead the development and implementation of a Customer-centric selling model that has enabled over 300 direct sales representatives to match their selling process to the customer's purchase decision making process.
Prior to his work with Intuit, Paul Smith was Director of Sales for the Intelegy Corporation, a Northern California firm that designed, staff and managed inside sales operations for Silicon Valley start-ups. Paul also formerly worked for IBM as both a Sr. Inside Sales Representative and a Competitive Sales Rep. He is the author of the book, Marketing is Science; Selling is an Art.
Melinda Sutherland

Melinda Sutherland is Manager of New Business Relations for the Houston Gas Operations of CenterPoint Energy in Houston, Texas. This position is responsible for Residential and Commercial marketing, as well as Builder and Developer relations.
Melinda is a native of South Mississippi. She moved to Houston and began her career with Houston Natural Gas Corporation in 1975. Her career path has taken her through various company mergers, acquisitions, and company name changes, as well as through many different areas of responsibility within the Company. She was promoted in to her current position and given the responsibility for Sales and Marketing in March of 2000.

Ron Swift is an internationally-known consultant, author, and strategist in the areas of Customer Relationship Management, Customer Knowledge Systems, Data Warehousing, Decision Support Infrastructures, E-Commerce, and Strategic Technologies for Enterprises.
Mr. Swift is Vice-President, Strategic Customer Relations for Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation. Prior to joining NCR in 1996, Swift was a senior partner with an International Consulting Firm, following a successful 22-year career at IBM.
His professional experiences cross numerous industries, including Banking, Financial Services, Brokerage, Insurance, Communications, Transportation, and Government. Swift’s extensive consulting and systems implementation experience also includes eight years of teaching at several colleges and universities in graduate, management, and technical professional educational programs.
Ron is also on the Board of Trustees for The Marketing Science Institute, the Board of Advisors for the Terry Business School’s MIS Program at The University of Georgia, and the Board of Advisors for The Teradata University Network, and The Programs and Services for Older Persons at Southwestern Illinois.
Swift is the author of "Accelerating Customer Relationships using CRM and Relationship Technologies" and has written numerous articles in many business and technology magazines.
Xiao-Yan Shen

Xiao-Yan Shen is the Program Manager for strategic research and analyst relations in the Global Operations and IT organization at HP. Prior to joining HP, Ms. Shen was an Associate Librarian at Santa Clara University in California.
Ms. Shen earned bachelor's degree in science from Peking University and her master degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
