Best Practices, LLC President and CEO
Christopher Bogan is a recognized expert and thought leader in the application of best practices for performance improvement. He has advised various Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Winners and other industry leading corporations. Mr. Bogan is a co-author of the highly acclaimed book, Benchmarking for Best Practices: Winning Through Innovative Adaptation, which has been hailed as "the new benchmark" for all those interested in benchmarking and best practice performance improvement. Mr. Bogan's first book, The Baldrige: What It Is, How it's Won, How To Use It to Improve Quality in Your Company, explores the quality systems of world-class companies. He is an honors graduate of the Harvard Business School and Amherst College. He sits on the boards of several corporations and is a Guest Lecturer at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
Global Benchmarking Council Director of Solutions, Partnership Services
Elizabeth Winstead joins the Global Benchmarking Council with 25 years of solution sales experience. Elizabeth has great success building high-end client bases in various industries from Pharmaceutical & Healthcare to Information Technology. She is integral to growing the membership of the Global Benchmarking Council and expanding resources for research and consulting projects. Elizabeth is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a BA in English Literature.
GBC Research and Marketing Associate
Kimberly Hardin brings publication and marketing experience to the GBC team. Prior to joining Best Practices, LLC, Ms. Hardin contributed to feature stories for UNCG Alumni Magazine and actively participated on the team responsible for redesigning the magazine in 2005. She also carried out marketing for the university’s Summer Repertory Theatre. At Best Practices, LLC, she is responsible for maintaining client relationships through marketing and partnership sales, as well as contributing to research projects that cater to the client’s needs. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and a BA in economics. Ms. Hardin also holds a business journalism certificate from the Carolina Business News Initiative at UNC.
GBC Senior Account Manager, Partner Services
David Guinn is responsible for all of our Global Benchmarking Council, Business Excellence Board and Database partners. This includes ad hoc questions and requests, relationship management, account growth and training.
Mr. Guinn has served clients in the financial services, manufacturing, public sector, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, technology, and healthcare industries. Prior to joining Best Practices, LLC, Mr. Guinn brings 10 years of experience in the banking industry and 11 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech and medical device industries. With both industries he has extensive experience working with C-level clients. David is an honors graduate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Management.
GBC Research and Marketing Associate
Benjamin Gregory is responsible for advertising GBC events and research projects, as well as data analysis and publishing. Mr. Gregory has served clients in the financial services, retail, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, technology, and healthcare industries. Prior to joining Best Practices, LLC, Mr. Gregory brings 3 years of experience in the financial industry and 6 years of experience in the retail industry through internships while in college. Benjamin is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Economics with a concentration in statistics.
