New Study: 20 Medical Operations Leaders on Effectively Engaging with HCPs

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., May 17, 2022/PRNewswire/ -- Medical biopharmaceutical groups engage with Healthcare Practitioners (HCPs) for a variety of critical activities, including advisory boards and consulting.

These engagements require contracts between pharma and the HCPs, but it take months for the two sides to navigate pharma companies’ internal contracting processes, especially for EU-based HCPs. Some organizations have designed streamlined internal steps for their HCP contracting process that gives them a competitive advantage over their more cumbersome peers.

This new Best Practices, LLC study is designed to inform medical groups on HCP contracting design, resources, and internal interactions for engaging HCPs.

The study will enable you to see how your company’s HCP contracting approach compares with industry peers on key issues affecting the efficiency and speed of HCP engagement.

"HCP Engagement Excellence: Optimizing Contracting Processes, Resources and Internal Interactions for Engaging Physicians and other HCPs" is a new 59-page study that examines how pharma medical organizations are streamlining their HCP contracting processes and procedures to more efficiently engage thought leaders and other HCPs.

Key topics in the report include:

  • How long, on average, your peers take to navigate the main 12 steps for contracting with an HCP (with timelines for each step)
  • How many HCP engagement contracts per FTE are processed annually by your peers
  • How many FTEs do your peers have in the group that processes HCP engagement contracts

This study engaged 20 medical leaders from 20 biopharmaceutical companies via a benchmark survey with deep-dive interviews conducted with selected participants to provide further insight.
