Lisa will discuss the genesis of the Resources Planning and Allocation Tool (RPAT) currently being developed for a major military organization by Northrop Grumman. This approach will aid in the development of current and future resource requirements.

The RPAT approach combines the methodologies of Activity Based Costing, Business Process Engineering and manpower analysis. As the military is validating all of its resources, this includes manpower, funding and materials; it is imperative that managers have the most accurate information to make informative decisions in order to properly allocate their most important resource- their workforce.
