Given the expanding role of technology and the increased usage of iPads by managed markets teams, it's critical for organizations to measure the effectiveness of these new devices and to ensure they are creating value for both the customer groups and internal teams. Best Practices, LLC undertook this research to investigate the best practices and challenges encountered by managed markets teams when deploying iPads/Androids.

One-third of companies rated technical difficulties and adaptability issues among the most significant implementation hurdles.
  • Key Success Factors for Successful iPad Deployment: Using a structured training plan (rated a key factor for iPad deployment success by 50% of companies), monitoring usage and actively seeking feedback (36%), open communication and robust IT support and channel integration (29%) were the often-cited tactics that can help companies overcome the challenges they face while implementing iPads.
