STUDY OVERVIEW

The role of Medical Affairs has expanded rapidly, reflecting their pivotal role in prioritizing and enhancing the patient experience throughout the entire lifecycle of a product or therapy. Moreover, the increasing demand for data collection and its dissemination to influential thought leaders has propelled Medical Affairs into the forefront of healthcare innovation.

Yet, as patient-centric initiatives continue to evolve, it can be challenging to keep pace with the most effective activities and leverage points specific to Medical’s evolving role in patient-focused activities.

SAMPLE KEY FINDINGS

  • Medical should create plain language summaries for sales and marketing informed by patient insights, especially those targeted towards patients. While half of Medical organizations share plain language summaries with sales and marketing, half of these respondents report that patient insights have a high impact on the material. This is an additional growth area for Medical to improve performance with patient experience insights and can additionally communicate Medical’s value in patient-focused activities.
