FEBRUARY 2019 Research Alert

This month we added three new studies to the Best Practice Database, the research repository for Best Practices, LLC. This month's new studies involve two areas: MSLs and Competitive Intelligence. The study on MSLs examines the current practices of these field medical specialists regarding interactions with HCPs outside of the US and, in particular, off-label and disease state discussions. The two remaining studies examine key issues regarding the CI function; both are landscape assessments that use a meta-analysis approach to identify evolving approaches regarding service levels, AI utilization, communication channels and insight generation.

The new Best Practices, LLC studies listed below under Newly Added Research explore how leading companies have made their operations more effective across these different areas.

Download: Enhancing MSL Interactions with Non-US Healthcare Practitioners (5541)

This study presents insights on current MSL practices around HCP interactions outside the US; topics addressed include proactive disease presentations, unsolicited requests on clinical data, off-label uses, and group HCP presentations. There are also questions about MSL re-certification.

Download: Competitive Intelligence Landscape Assessment: Differentiated Service Levels, Technology Enablement and Artificial Intelligence (5544)

Best Practices, LLC conducted this landscape assessment using a meta-analysis approach to identify evolutionary insights for Competitive Intelligence service levels, technology enablement and artificial intelligence utilization in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Download: Competitive Intelligence Landscape Assessment: Communication Channels, Insight Types and Hallmarks of Excellence (5545)

Using a meta-analysis approach, Best Practices, LLC conducted this study to identify communication channels, insight types and hallmarks of excellence used by CI groups in the biopharmaceutical industry.
